Arab Council Australia is offering free training for community-based professionals who work with women and men of Arabic-speaking background in the delivery of the Musawat: Gender Equality Program. The short, intensive course will build foundational skills, tools, and knowledge as well as provide practical guidance on facilitating the program to community groups.
Developed by Arab Council Australia as part of the From the Ground Up to Equality project, the Musawat: Gender Equality Program was informed by the outcomes of community co-design workshops and existing research on gender equality training.
The training will be delivered online over three sessions by Ally Hijazi (Project Coordinator).
Sessions will be run on the following dates:

Wednesday 20 March 2024
On successful completion of the training, participants will receive the full Musawat: Gender Equality Kit and accredited to deliver the program in the community
